Buying a New Car? Here’s Why a PDI Check is a Game-Change

Buying a New Car :  If you are buying a new vehicle, one of the most important steps you can take before you accept delivery is to have it inspected. Consumers can inspect the vehicle and see if there are any scratches, dents, rust, or physical damage before they take delivery of their vehicle. As challenging as this may be, there are a few relatively new companies that assist buyers in getting their cars checked out.

PDIExpert, Droom, Zekardo and several such brands are operating and help customers identify whether the allotted vehicle is in pristine condition or damaged and all of this at throwaway prices. Generally these services assist the consumers with listing of checks of the engine, transmission, brakes, tyres, lights, air conditioning system, paintwork, interior features etc.

Recently, Cars 24 has launched a new Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) service, named CarTruth which helps customers with a PDI of their vehicles. According to the company, it will uncover many things that a buyer doesn’t detect, like tampered odometers, undisclosed accident damage, missing paperwork, flood damage, brake failure and battery, among other elements that go unnoticed.

he company also elaborated that customers interested can download or update the Cars24 application or simply get onto the cars24 website and add a phone number to proceed ahead. After that, customers will receive the ‘Get Car Checked’ option and book it whenever they want.

CarTruth enables buyers to get any car — new or used — inspected, anywhere in India at an introductory price of Rs 999. The new report, based on expert data, helps consumers avoid problem cars or negotiate better terms, so individuals aren’t open to being sold a “lemon.”
