Kia India Sells 25,025 Units in January :Kia Syros launched was nothing short of a scoop and it reflected in impressive sales number of 5,546 units in the first month itself indicating customers’ strong demand. Kia’s well-known Sonet and Seltos models, however, topped the sales charts with 7,194 and 6,470 units sold, respectively.

The Kia Carens also held ground, with 5,522 units, while the premium Kia Carnival remained a favourite, with 293 units.Kia India has also achieved great success internationally by exporting 1,454 ‘Made in India’ vehicles to 70 global markets.Commenting on this New Year success, Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India said, “January is

the most important month for any OEM, as it sets the tone for the rest of the year. The new year has got off to a great start with the introduction of the Kia Syros which has received an overwhelming response from customers. We are also enthused with the response for our premium offering —

the Kia Carnival Limousine, that continues to garner traction in its segment.”For a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kia Syros marks yet another leap in this direction, indicating Kia India’s commitment to balance its international expansion with shaping the vehicles to the needs of the mass-market population.
