Exterior and interior

The Stealth Edition was derived on the range-topping Harrier Fearless + variant, while the Dark Edition will be offered across the Tata Harrier, from Pure + S trim right up to the top-end. And the Stealth Edition is limited to just 2,700 units. The two black editions differ primarily in that the Dark is finished in gloss black paint, and the Stealth adds a matte black treatment. A fully blacked-out front grille, bumper and skid plate are all common exterior features, but there’s a new design for the alloy wheels and ‘STEALTH’ badging on the fender for the Stealth.

Tata’s Dark SUV features chrome accents in the cabin, with some locations such as door handles. On the other hand, the limited edition Stealth gets all-black treatment. While in the feature department, the Harrier top variant comes with Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 10-speaker JBL music system, connected car tech and dual-zone climate control.

Engine and transmission

The Harrier now features a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine sourced from Stellantis, which delivers 170hp and 350Nm of peak torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.

Stealth Edition continues with the top Accomplished + trim for the Tata Safari whereas the Dark Edition is available from Pure + S trim. Much like the Stealth and Dark Editions on the Harrier, the Safari receives blacked-out elements on the exterior as well, like the fully blacked-out front grille and alloy wheels.

However, the Safari gets six- or seven-seater options with extra features than the smaller Harrier, including front heated and cooled cup holders, ventilated front and middle row seats, AC vents on the pillars and captain seats (in the six-seater variants).
