Hyundai Alcazar First Service : It was shared by BHPian Passion2explore with other enthusiasts. A Comparison on First Service @ Dee Emm, Hyundai Sec14, Gurgaon. From Maruti ASS benchmark service, the time was a bit disappointed this time. No appropriate place to wait in the LOunge. SA was not wearing with full concentration and environment was not very professional. There was no urge to listen to customer problem. SA was informed of following issues:Centre console rattle. Intermittent stuck of drive seat belt while wearing
it. Bluelink connection is wifey all on and offSA accept that the centre console rattles and they also managed a liquid spray lubricant around the console provided by company to combat this issue in previous gen Alcazar. In previous model they were putting foam on the panels as well. But in the new model, there isn’t that much space to add foam. So, apply just the spray lubricant.
An diagnosis they told me what the thing was it is a bending seat belt and the order they place for it to replace.Frankly SA did not make any twinkle. He was just clicking around here and there. Then some people over phone tried to check. Unable to identify root cause and fix. Finally did the jugaad of removing power supply cable from battery for few mins and reconected. This time it worked. They requested for me to monitor it and film if it repeats.
The washing was not done properly which I pointed out to SA and left. In total my car was in service center for 3 hrs, out of which 2 Hrs were spend for washing as there was huge rush.I am used to Hyundai car from my early 2000s, they had good ASS. My first service experience with the ASS this time was 6/10. Will certainly look for another service centre for next service. As service is due and Hyundai service center in Gurgaon is far from this location.
