Kia EV6 Recalled Again in India : The brand has issued a voluntary recall for the Kia EV6. The recall covers a total of 1,380 units of the EV6 produced during the period from March 3, 2022, to April 14, 2023. Information on the software update: The software update is available for the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) in order to improve the charging and performance of the 12V auxiliary battery. This battery, of course, runs the Kia EV’s lights, wipers and music system.

It will contact the owners of the affected vehicles directly, the company said, and update them. Affected vehicle customers are also encouraged to contact the Kia dealership where they purchased their car to make an appointment.They can also call Kia at their toll-free number 1800-108-5005 for any other issue. Kia has also informed the MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) about the recall.
