The recall covers a total of 1,380 units of the EV6 produced during the period from March 3, 2022, to April 14, 2023. Information on the software update: The software update is available for the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) in order to improve the charging and performance of the 12V auxiliary battery. This battery, of course, runs the Kia EV’s lights, wipers and music system.
