MG Astor 2025 Debuts : Today, JSW MG Motor introduced the refreshed 2025 MG Astor, with new additions to the Shine and Select variants. The Shine variant of the Astor 2025 has now been equipped with a panoramic sunroof and six speakers. The latest update made it the only SUV in its price segment to offer a panoramic sunroof under Rs 12.5 lakh, the Shine variant retails at Rs 12,47,800, ex-showroom.
The Select variant adds six airbags and ivory mattress leatherette seats to the mix, further boosting comfort and safety. 2025 MG Astor comes with five variants: Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro, with an attractive starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom price.
2025 MG Astor comes with a range of features including front ventilated Seats, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto & Apple Car Play and auto-dimming IRVM. It comes with updated i-SMART 2.0 and gets 80+ connected features for a smooth, hassle-free driving experience.
It features a JIO Voice Recognition and has advanced voice commands for weather, cricket score, calculator, clock, date/day information, horoscope, dictionary, news and knowledge.
MG Astor is the first SUV in India with a personal AI assistant. It offers 14 ADAS Level 2 functions on the mid-range radars and multi-purpose camera. The MG Astor is available with two engine options: 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit (140 PS/220 Nm) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission; 1.5-litre petrol offering (110 PS/144 Nm) with 5-speed MT and CVT automatic options.
This SUV rivals other SUVs like the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, among others in the segment. Creta has been one of the highest-selling cars in its segment.
