Ola S1 vs TVS iQube : Ola Electric has launched its third generation of electric scooters — S1 X, S1 X+, S1 Pro and top-of-the-line S1 Pro+. But does the premium S1 Pro+ have the chops to avoid range anxiety against its rival, the TVS iQube ST? We find out.

At the higher end, the S1 Pro+ features a 5.3 kWh battery composed of 4680 Bharat cells. It has a claimed range of 320 km (under ideal conditions as per IDC), which in the real world, is expected to differ. With 17.4 bhp, it rockets from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.1 seconds, topping out at 141 kmph.

The upper variant of the iQube ST has a 5.1 kWh battery producing 5.9 bhp and 33 Nm of torque. The top speed is 82 kmph with 0 to 40 kmph sprint in 4.2 seconds. The iQube ST has a claimed real-world range of 110 km, and charges from 0 to 80 per cent in around 4 hours 18 minutes.

The Ola S1 Pro+ comes with segment-first features, such as dual ABS, twin disc brakes at both ends, and brake-by-wire technology for stronger stopping power. Riders get four riding modes to choose from — Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco. Ola Electric hasn’t disclosed all the specifics yet, but these highlights establish the S1 Pro+ as a performance-focused offering.

TVS iQube ST Highlights:

The TVS iQube ST is centred around a connected and convenient riding experience. It features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with turn-by-turn navigation and voice assistance, too, and it even works with Alexa. Along with over-the-air updates, practicality continues with under-seat storage that has a whole 32 liters of space, along with geo-fencing, live locator, crash and fall alerts and notifications via the mobile app for safety.
