out their portfolios in this space. Now, let us look at how the sale of the electric car fared in Jan 2025 on YoY and MoM basis. Top Electric Car Sellers in Jan 2025 Jan 2025 was a good month for electric car retail sales with strong YoY & MoM growth. Sales totaled 11,266 units, an increase of 32.28% from the 8,517 units sold in Jan 2024. It was also 27.70% greater than 8,822 unit sales
of Dec 2024. Tata Motors probably with the highest portfolio of electric cars was leading this list with 5,047 unit sales last month. Despite registering a YoY de-growth of 13.01% as against 5,802 units sold in Jan 2024, the company recorded a MoM increase of 24.71% from 4,047 units sold in Dec 2024. It now sees battery electric versions of the Harrier, Safari and Sierra SUVs joining the Tata Motors EV line-up. trong growth with a 252.20% YoY increase in sales to 4,237 units moving out in Jan 2025. It was better than 1,203 units sold in Jan 2024. It also shared an MoM performance where it reported increased YTD sales against 3643 units sold in the month of Dec 2024. It already has the Comet and ZS EV plus newer Windsor EV in its range. Its two upcoming models include the Cyberster and the M9.
