Splendor to Spark : Homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer is most likely to electrify its best seller Splendor. Yes, you read it right!In fact, some report that a couple of new battery-powered scooters and motorcycles in that market segment are to be released in 2027, expected to follow in the footsteps of the e-Splendor. Nonetheless, the brand has not yet provided a concrert confirmation regarding the same.

The model has already been codenamed AEDA according to some headlines and is under development at the company’s factory in Jaipur. The manufacturer will probably make about 2 lakh units per year once the electric Splendor is made, if rumoubours are to be believed.

Electric Dirt Bike

Amidst this, Hero MotoCorp has also confirmed to add an electric dirt bike to its line-up. The launch is set to happen in either the beginning or the middle of the next. The brand will produce more than 10k units of the vehicle a year, and export the vehicle in the overseas markets too.

Current Fleet

On the other hand, Hero has multiple electric scooters in the Indian market. Optima CX is priced at Rs 83, 315, whereas Atria and Photon can be purchased at Rs 77,690 and Rs 1.10 lakh (all ex-showroom) respectively.
