TVS Ronin 2025: What’s New? Colors, ABS & Price in India

TVS Ronin 2025 : The 2025 Ronin made its debut with new dual-channel ABS and two new colourways. The motorcycle continues featuring the 225cc engine, Bluetooth connected digital cluster, as well as all-LED lighting, all of which make it one of the trendiest, yet tech packed options in the neo-retro segment. Starting from ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), does it have enough to challenge Royal Enfield and Honda’s 350cc motorcycles? Read on to find out!

TVS is at it again, revising its neo-retro roadster, the 2025 TVS Ronin, and this time, it’s more than just looks. Now equipped with new safety tech and unique colour options, the motorcycle is an increasingly attractive proposition for riders in search of modern technology with old-school aesthetics. Launched last year at MotoSoul in Vagator, the Ronin has already established itself in the sub-350cc space, going up against the Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 and Honda CB350 H’ness.

However, it is also up against a host of very well-established rivals, does it have enough to woo buyers away at that ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) price point? Let’s take a closer look. What’s New for the 2025 TVS Ronin?

The most significant update is in the braking department. The mid-variant can finally be had with dual-channel ABS, which was previously only available with the top-end model. The base variant, however, continues to gets a single-channel ABS. For those who prioritize safety, this is a positive change.

The Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember colours replace the Delta Blue and Stargaze Black colour options. Other than these, the Ronin is still offered in Down Orange, Galactic Grey, Nimbus Grey, Magma Red and Midnight Blue.

POWERTRAIN: NO CHANGE UNDER THE HOOD

The 2025 Ronin’s mechanics are unchanged. This one sticks with a 225cc single-cylinder that pumps out 20 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of peak torque at 3,750 rpm. A 5-speed transmission with slipper clutch takes care of the gears, while the engine is tuned for a leisurely ride, making the Ronin the perfect city commuter with the occasional highway jaunt.

Disadvantages: Not Just a Jumper with a Retro Design

TVS has been busy cramming tech into the Ronin too, further enhancing the riding experience. Here are some exceptional attributes:

Bluetooth enabled Navigation Alerts and Call with the help of Digital instrument cluster.

Glide Through Traffic (GTT) function that stops the stall out at a low speed.

The levers can be adjusted for additional comfort.

All-LED lighting headlamp, taillamp and indicators.

A silent starter and side-stand cut-off sensor for enhanced safety.

Given that the Ronin goes up against Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350 H’ness, it surely has far more contemporary tech in its arsenal.

Price and Variants

The 2025 TVS Ronin is offered in a range of variants:

Base Variant: ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom) — Single-channel ABS

Mid Variant: ₹1.59 lakh (ex-showroom) — Dual-channel ABS

Noble as it may be, the ZX-25R is relatively premium priced in the sub-350cc motorcycle class, but the added safety features and tech may just warrant the bump.
