Aside from an updated speaker mesh grille, some new high-end materials for the XC60’s interior, and a new 11.2-inch freestanding infotainment display, the facelifted XC60 isn’t too different inside. Engines of Volvo XC60 facelift

Volvo has not yet announced any changes to the facelifted XC60’s mechanicals, meaning the SUV should continue with its current powertrain options. The former is a 250hp, 350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid paired with 8-speed torque convertor. The India-spec XC60 has this powertrain as its only option, but international markets have access to a 455hp, 640Nm 2.0-litre twincharged plug-in hybrid version too.

The updated XC60 is set to go on sale globally later in 2023. While its predecessor is on sale for Rs 69.9 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, expect the new model to be priced at a small premium when Volvo finally launches it locally. In addition to the facelifted XC60, Volvo will also introduce its all-electric EX90 and EX30 in India.
