The new Seltos is priced between Rs 11.13 Lakhs for the HTE(O) and Rs 20.50 Lakhs for the X-Line variant, while the Syros begins at 9 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.80 lakh
Overall, the Seltos adds more value and the panoramic sunroof equipped variant goes under the Rs 13 lakh price point. Both differ with regards to the variant line-up and the engines on offer. The Syros does not have a turbo petrol only while the Seltos has a naturally aspirated 1.5l also which use less but could have less power. There is a turbo petrol on the Seltos, but that is the
more powerful 1.5l turbo. Both have a diesel engine.You get a far comfier, more spacious rear seat with the Syros, if that’s a priority. It has better headroom too. Interior-wise, the two draw from more premium setups, and the Syros and Seltos boast almost identical kit, with the Seltos beating the Korte in some departments.
For self driven owners, the larger Seltos more a value for money proposition with the 1.5 NA CVT while for more space and practicality, the Syros is the one to go for. The Seltos is more engaging to drive and handle better plus the styling is more appealing but the Syros has the better practicality and space.
