The earlier version of the 390 adventure was a reasonably well-kitted machine in its own right, but the new variant goes one up in this aspect. The equipment list includes adjustable suspension, riding modes, 21/17-inch tubeless wire-spoke rims, cornering ABS and traction control, and for the first time on a sub-500cc ADV tourer in India, cruise control.
Also, out goes the bloated look of its predecessor; the 2025 machine is more purposeful looking than ever before. Design wise, it features a slimmer overall profile and a stepped single-piece seat instead of the older bike’s split seats.Difference between KTM 390 Adventure dimensions, cycle partsOne adjustment that will no doubt be noticeable when you throw a leg over the new 390 Adventure is its reduced 830mm perch — a full 25mm less than its predecessor. Even with that much-lower perch, however, the
new bike boasts a massive 227 mm of ground clearance on tap. This is thanks to the new suspension units, which offer 200/205mm (F/R) of travel, which is (and this is becoming quite a theme here) considerably more than the first bike. While both the pre-facelift model and the 2025 bike get identical fuel capacities of 14.5 litres, the 2025 390 Adventure comes in at 183kg, or 6 kilos heavier than the outgoing model.The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure, along with the lower-spec and more riad-biased variant, the 390 Adventure X, will be launching in India within the next few days.
