BMW F 450 GS Coming in 2025 : A new BMW F 450 GS adventure bike will make its world debut by the end of 2025, the German automaker confirmed via its social media channels. The bike had recently been unveiled as a concept at the Auto Expo in January 2025, New Delhi. It’ll be manufactured locally by TVS, BMW Motorrad’s partner in India, once it goes into production. The new F 450 GS was unveiled at
the EICMA 2024 show in Milan, Italy and is set to sit above the BMW G 310 GS.The bigger GS models provide some of the design cues for the F 450 GS concept. The front beak and headlamp cluster come from R 1300 GS, while the tail section and the angular fuel tank design are straight out of the F 900 GS.For the F 450 GS, an all-new 450 cc, parallel-twin engine has been developed,
which BMW Motorrad claims has been developed from the ground up. This unit is capable of producing 48 bhp and is tuned to deliver loads of torque in the lower rev range. BMW claims it’s used a “never-before-used” ignition offset, which just helps the ADV to sound and feel a bit more rev-happy. It is claimed the use of materials including magnesium helped it be compact and
light. The F 450 GS’ chassis has been designed from the ground up for agility in on-road and off-road situations. The ADV uses USD forks up front and a rear with load-dependent damping for the shock absorber. It was expected to have a weight of 175 kg and could be offered with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless wire-spoke rims.
There will be a comprehensive suite of rider aids and features on the BMW F 450 GS. It features a 6.5-inch TFT display which can pair with Bluetooth to provide call/SMS alerts, media controls and turn-by-turn navigation. The ADV also comes with lean-sensitive ABS and three different riding modes that can be customized to suit rider preference.
