BMW Showroom Shock: 20-Year-Old Crashes In After M4 CS Loan Rejected

BMW Showroom Shock : The Florida man legend lives on as a 20-year-old arrived at a BMW dealership in Gainesville, Florida and attempted to purchase a new M4 CS, a 543-horsepower coupe that retails for over $125,000. But he allegedly went into a rage after he was unable to pass a credit check and was denied the chance to take a test drive.

Dialing up self-worth is never high on the to-do list, but Kevin Leiman didn’t take it lightly. WCJB reports that he tried to grab the car keys instead when he was leaving. Good job dealership staff for stopping him, but Leiman returned (his car, we assume) and sat around, driving circles around the building for two laps. Leiman then allegedly stomped on the gas, plowing the vehicle into the showroom. He then got out of his car and reportedly continued searching for the M4 CS keys.

Unable to locate them, Leiman left on foot and was later stopped by police. He was charged with grand theft auto and criminal mischief, and authorities estimated he did approximately $60,000 in damage to the dealership. The good news is there were no injuries and the building is structurally sound. A screenshot of the aftermath, uploaded by a user on Bimmerpost, depicts bewildered staffers gathered around the showroom littered with shards of glass. They also said he nearly hit the M4 CS, and that the car “most likely [sustained] some damage to the paint from the glass shards.”

That’s fairly minor in the grand scheme of the total destruction, but the user shared the car’s VIN number and it has a price listing of $129,175 by the dealership. That’s not the cheapest, but it now has a rather intriguing history
