Maruti Alto K10 at ₹4.23 Lakh : All variants of Maruti Alto K10 are now offered with 6 airbags as standard. Following this update, the prices of the Alto K10 have gone up by up to Rs 16,000, depending on the variant. With the name change, Maruti has also renamed the Alto K10’s variants dropping the (O) suffix on all the variants. There are no mechanical updates though – the 67hp, 1.0-litre, E20-fuel-compatible petrol engine, in its manual or AMT iterations, carries on as does the factory-fitted CNG version.

2025 Maruti Alto K10 prices
The variant with the highest price hike is the Alto K10 VXI.
Maruti has hiked Alto K10 prices, similar to how it did with Celerio and Brezza after 6 airbag refreshes, but not as much higher. The base Alto K10 STD has become Rs 14,000 more expensive, while the LXI, VXI and VXI+ variants have become more expensive by Rs 6,000, Rs 16,000 and Rs 10,000, respectively.

Apart from 6 airbags, the Maruti Alto K10’s safety equipment list also includes rear parking sensors, 3-point seat belts for each of the rear passengers, luggage retention cross bars, electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).

74% of Maruti Alto K10 customers are new buyers
Since its launch in India in 2000, Maruti Suzuki has sold more than 46 lakh units of the Alto. It’s also worth noting, according to the company’s senior marketing and sales executive Partho Banerjee, that 74 per cent of buyers of the Alto K10 are first-time buyers.
