Revolt RV BlazeX Hits Indian Roads : Revolt has announced the launch of the Revolt RV BlazeX in India and it has been priced at Rs 1,14,990 (ex-showroom). It is being said that the bike is a more powerful variant of the cheaper Revolt RV1 electric bike. The order books for the bike have been opened, and as per the manufacturer, deliveries are expected to start from the beginning of March, 2025.
The design and styling of the Revolt RV BlazeX is similar to Ride Revolt RV1. It comes with the same round headlight configuration and a neo-retro design in the front-end area. There’s also some bits carried over from the RV1, like the long single piece seat, the pillion grab rail and pretty sharp looking tail section.
The difference between the Revolt RV BlazeX and the Revolt RV1 comes through in the motor. Powering the BlazeX is a 4kW motor, a significant upgrade over the 2.8kW motor found on the Revolt RV1. It features a reported top speed of 85kmph. The Revolt RV BlazeX is powered by a 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and has a claimed range of 150km.
It would take 3 hours and 30 minutes on regular charging for the battery pack to charge from 0 to 80 percent. The time taken to charge up to 80% with fast charging is 80 minutes or 1 hour and 20 minutes. The rider is capable of fast charging and normal charging at home using a 3-pin socket, according to Revolt.
The bike has a telescopic front fork and twin-rear shock absorber in terms of underpinnings. It gets 17-inch alloys on both ends and a disc brake at the front. Revolt has also made CBS a standard offering for better safety.And features, the bike comes with a 6-inch LCD console. Smartphone connection is present, as well as features like geo-fencing, inbuilt GPS navigation. The brand is also planning to provide OTA (over-the-air) updates also.The Revolt RV BlazeX will compete with other electric bikes in the country like the Ola Roadster X+ and the Oben Rorr.
