Ultraviolette F77 Super Street Review: Speed Meets Comfort!

Ultraviolette F77 Super Street Review: Ultraviolette launched the updated F77 Mach 2 last year, with minor design updates, feature additions, and improved drivetrains. However, the majority of F77 owners predominantly rode within city limits — and many were after a more comfortable proposition as a result. Enter the F77 Super Street — a more comfortable version of the Mach 2 with different ergonomics and slight design tweaks. So which is better of the two models, the Super Street? Absolutely.

Ultraviolette F77 Super Street design changes

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 was always a head-turner, and the Super Street doesn’t shy away from its aesthetic. There are no new exclusive driver aids visually or feature-wise styled off of the Mach 2. On the other hand, it is available in four brand-new colors, although you need a keen eye to separate the two models. Most apparent are the taller, wider handlebar and a new headlight cowl.

Feature-set-wise, the car gets the same 9 levels of regen, 3 levels of traction control, and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) as standard for both variants. Ultraviolette also says the new headlight cowl improves aerodynamics by 15-20 percent over the Mach 2. It still gets the same 5-inch TFT, which is now held at a more upright angle, improving legibility.

Ride and handling of Ultraviolette F77 Super Street

The F77 Super Street does weigh in at 207kg, though its ergonomic tweaks have rendered it a much more manageable machine. Compared to the Mach 2, it feels noticeably easier to manage at lower speeds making riding in urban environments less taxing. Still, this thing’s weight is very much felt when being pulled off a stand or shoved around at parking speeds. Though the more relaxed riding position does provide some definite improvement in comfort, it doesn’t fundamentally change the experience.
