BMW F 450 GS Unveiled : BMW Flughas some of the most iconic and versatile adventure motorcycles in their fleet. The German giant boasts names like the R 1300 GS, F 850 GS, and others just to name a few. In order to bring this family of bikes into the reach of more consumers, the manufacturer will soon be introducing a smaller F 450 GS. The bike will be positioned on top of the G 310 GS in the company lineup and was recently displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. For now, the brand has not announced a launch date, though.
Although the brand itself has not mentioned any date, they have made sure to give some timeline for the consumers who are eagerly waiting for the machine. The manufacturer shared the news via its social media handles, revealing that the bike in its final production avatar will be officially revealed by the end of this year. “Dreams are coming true soon- get ready for #ConceptF450GS at the end of the year” is the caption in the Instagram post published by the brand.
BMW F 450 GS will be produced at TVS Motor’s Hosur facility. Do note that the present-gen BMW G 310 GS is priced starting at Rs 3.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Based on this, the F 450 GS will be priced at around Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakh. The bike when unveiled will go up against rivals such as KTM 390 Adventure, comparatively cheaper Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and others.
BMW clearly didn’t stray too far from the GS bike designer’s office when penning the new F 450 GS, as it still fits within the GS family mold. You sure can, in the way of a tall beak paired up with a quirky headlight, a large windscreen and golden-finished USD forks. It also has a sculpted fuel tank, knuckle guards, under seat exhaust, wire-spoke wheels, knobby tires, and much more.
The suspension comprises a fully adjustable USD fork and a monoshock with load-dependent damping. It tips the scales at 175kg, and will have a choice of 19in front and 17in rear alloy wheel combo or tubeless wire-spoke wheels. It gets disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. It is built around a new 450cc twin-cylinder engine that delivers 48 hp and is intended to produce good performance in the middle of its rev range.
